Want to be a Foster Parent? Purr Paws Rescue is a foster-based no-kill rescue. This means we do not have a shelter in which to house cats, but rather that the cats and kittens in the program stay in private homes. Have you wanted to have a cat or kitten but didn't think you could afford the veterinary bills? By fostering for a rescue group, you can help out a cat or kitten who needs a temporary home. Purr Paws Rescue is responsible for the veterinary care and asks that the foster homes provide food, water, litter, and love. In special situations, Purr Paws Rescue may provide food and litter to fosters as well. Foster parents bring their foster cats and kittens to adoptions days. The cats or kittens do not have to come to all adoption days, but they should come to at least one a month. As additional adoption sites are set up, there will be more opportunities to show cats and kittens. All fosters will be tested for FIV/FeLV prior to placement in a foster home. If you are interested in fostering, either short-term or long-term, please fill out the questionnairre online, or contact Purr Paws Rescue for an application. 18062 FM 529 Rd, Suite 161 Cypress, TX 77433 832-295-4972 ![]()
